Your Day-by-Day Itinerary

DAY 1: BAGDOGRA AIRPORT / NEW JALPAIGURI RLY. STATION – PELLING

On arrival at Bagdogra airport you will be received by our representative, who will be waiting for a warm welcome just outside of the airport (customs area)/ Rly. Station by your nameplate /your referral and proceed for peeling (7,000ft. /124 km. /6 hours), the land lies with Mt. Khnagchendzonga and also known as the Hallmark land of eastern Himalayan state in India. On arrival at Pelling check in at your hotel, overnight stay at Pelling.

DAY 2: PELLING SIGHTSEEING

Full day Excursion trip to Pemayangtse Monastery, built in 17th. Century, it is one of the oldest and most important monasteries of the Nyingmapa order of Buddhism in Sikkim also visit Khecheopalri Lake & Shingshore Suspension Bridge is worth seeing – length & gorge height is 680 ft. DAY 03: PELLING TO GANGTOK VIA NAMCHI CHARDHAM

Today after breakfast proceed for excursion trip to Namchi Chardham Darshan, Guru Padmasambhava statue. And after that proceed for Gangtok (5500ft. /124 km. /4 hours), the capital city of Sikkim state (Sikkim is the 23rd.state of India) which also known as most peaceful & beautiful state in India. On arrival at Gangtok check in into your hotel, overnight stay.

NAMCHI: The mammoth statue of Guru Padmasambhava atop the Samdruptse hill. Claimed without dispute that the 135 feet statue of Guru Padmasambhava constructed at the statue of Guru Padma Shambhava at Samdruptse Hill, Namchi, Sikkim.

CHARDHAM: This unique Pilgrim Centre has a main temple of 108 feet height on which is based the 87 feet high statue of Lord Shiva on the sitting posture at the Solophok Hill. Apart from Shiva statue, this Pilgrim Centre also has replicas of the twelve Jyotirlingas, to offer one platform for Shiva devotees. Solophok Chardham Lord Shiva incarnated as Kirateshwar in Indrakeel (Present Sikkim). Therefore, in this incarnation he is locally worshipped by the people of Sikkim as Lord Kirateshwar. A statue of 16 1/2 feet height of Lord Kirateshwar is also installed in the complex. In order to attain Moksha, the Hindu belief is to perform pilgrimage to all the existing four Dhams. Thereby, replicas of these four Dhams, namely Badrinath, Jaganath and Dwarka dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Rameshwar, dedicated to Lord Shiva is also constructed.

DAY 4: TSOMGO LAKE & BABA MANDIR TOUR

Today after breakfast drive up for a memorable excursion tour to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft. /39 km), this is one of the highest altitudes Himalayan Lake. Most beautiful this oval shape lake almost 1 km long with its average depth 50 ft and situated in east Sikkim Himalaya. Again drive up for Baba Harbhajan Singh Memorial – Baba Mandir (13,000 ft/15 km/30 minute). Back to Gangtok and evening free for M.G Marg. the popular shopping area in Gangtok, overnight stay in Gangtok.

DAY 05: GANGTOK HALF DAY CITY SIGHTSEEING TOUR

Today Gangtok half day city sightseeing tour to Ganjan Monastery, Ganesh Tok, Tashi view point, Baktham waterfalls, Lasa waterfalls, Handicraft, Flower show. Ganesh Tok (6,500 ft.), a small temple dedicated to Lord Ganesha and from this place one can take a breathtaking view of Gangtok and back to Hotel, Evening free for individual activity. DAY 06: GANGTOK – KALIMPONG

DAY 07: KALIMPONG TO DARJEELING

Today after Breakfast proceed for Darjeeling (7,200 ft.), The Queen of Hill’s. Arrivals at Darjeeling check in at your hotel. Evening free for walk in the Mall, where you will get curio and handicraft shop Overnight halt.

DAY 8: DARJEELING SIGHTSEEING TOUR

Early morning get ready for an exciting excursion tour to Tiger Hill (8,500 ft), the famous sunrise point in eastern Himalaya and get the breathtaking view of the changing colour reflection over the Mt. Khnagchendzonga peak and en route back to hotel visit Batasia Loop ,this is a war memorial also visit Ghoom Monastery ,one of the oldest monastery.

After breakfast proceed for Himalayan Mountneening Institute, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (closed on Thursday), Tenzing rock, Tibetan refugee self- help centre (closed on Sunday), happy valley tea garden, Japanese temple & Peace pagoda. Back to hotel… Evening free to join in a delighted cultural evening at Darjeeling Night angle Park, where the different traditional folk dance present by local people, overnight halt.

DAY 9: DARJEELING– BAGDOGRA AIRPORT / NEW JALPAIGURI RAIL STATION.
