Gangtok rose to prominence as a popular Buddhist pilgrimage site after the construction of the Enchey Monastery in 1840. In 1894, the ruling Sikkimese Chogyal, Thutob Namgyal, transferred the capital to Gangtok. In the early 20th century, Gangtok became a major stopover on the trade route between Lhasa in Tibet and cities such as Kolkata (then Calcutta) in British India. In 1975, after the integration with the union of India, Gangtok was made India’s 22nd state capital.

Your Day-by-Day Itinerary
DAY 01: BAGDOGRA AIRPORT /NEW JALPAIGURI RLY STATION – GANGTOK
On arrival at Bagdogra airport / New Jalpaiguri Rly. Station you will be received by our professional representative, who will be waiting for a warm welcome just outside of the airport (customs area)/ Rly. Station by your name plate /your referral and proceed for Gangtok (5500ft. /124 km. /4 hours), the capital city of Indian state of Sikkim (Sikkim is the 23rd.state of India). Sikkim is one the most beautiful state in India located in Eastern Himalaya and surrounded by High Mountain and deep valleys in between the Tibet in the north, Royal Bhutan in the East and Nepal in West. On arrival at Gangtok check in at your hotel, overnight stay.
DAY 02: TSOMGO LAKE BABA MANDIR TOUR
Today drive up for a memorable excursion tour to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft. /39 km), this is one of the highest altitude Himalayan Lake. Most beautiful this oval shape lake almost 1 km long with its average depth 50 ft and situated in east Sikkim Himalaya. Again drive up for Baba Harbhajan Singh Memorial (13,000 ft/15 km/30 minute). Back to Gangtok and evening free for M.G Marg. the popular shopping area in Gangtok, overnight stay in Gangtok.
DAY 03: GANGTOK – DARJEELING
Today for Darjeeling (7,200 ft.), The Queen of Hill’s. Arrivals at Darjeeling check in at your hotel. Evening free for walk in the Mall, where you will get curio and handicraft shop Overnight halt.
strong>DARJEELING SIGHTSEEING TOUR: After refreshment proceed for Himalayan Mountneening Institute, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (closed on Thursday), Tenzing rock, Tibetan refugee self- help centre (closed on Sunday), Happy valley tea garden, Japanese temple & Peace pagoda. Back to hotel and Evening free to join in a delighted cultural evening at Darjeeling Night angle Park, where the different traditional folk dance present by local people, overnight halt.
DAY 04: TIGER HILL (SUNRISE) EXCURSION TOUR
Early morning get ready for an exciting excursion tour to Tiger Hill (8,500 ft), the famous sunrise point in eastern Himalaya and get the breathtaking view of the changing colour reflection over the Mt. Khnagchendzonga peak and en route back to hotel visit Batasia Loop, this is a war memorial also visit Ghoom Monastery, one of the oldest monastery.

- Permit require for Tsomgo Lake. It is mandatory that guest should carry 04 copies of pass – port size photograph, original photo ID proof with photo copy (identity card – Voter ID card/Pass-port/Driving License etc) for processing the permit.
- Permit also require for traveling to North Sikkim (Lachung &Lachen). Requires 02 more copies of passport size photographs along with original photo ID proof.
- All travelers (including child) must carry during tour: Original ID Address proof (PAN card not valid), child school ID card, 04 to 08 Copy Passport size photos, 02 photocopy of ID. Few places to travel in Sikkim mendatory required permit (ILP)
- As per Gangtok (Sikkim) local traffic rules 7.30 AM to 7.30 PM vehicle not allow ( No Entry) inside Gangtok city. All transfer will provide from stand to stand. So between stand to hotel and to stand has to take small car by tourist directly on spot, which is very easy available in stand.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation before 30 days of start date will be charged processing fee equivalent to INR 3000 per person;
Cancellations between 20 days to 30 days before start date, 35% of tour cost would be charged as retention;
Cancellations between 20 days to 15 days before start date, 50% of tour cost would be charged as retention;
Cancellations made within 15 days of start date, entire tour cost shall be charged as retention;
Bank transaction charges apply on credit card/net banking refunds;
