Your Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 01 : Guwahati -Tezpur-(190 km /4½hrs)
On arrival at Guwahati Airport /Station pick up &drive to Tezpur. On arrival, check in at hotel. Relax for a while with light refreshments. Afterwards go for local sightseeing. Overnight stay at Tezpur .
Day 02 : Tejpur – Bomdila (190 km /5 hrs)
Early in the morning, leave for Bomdilla. En-route visit Asia’s third largest Orchidarium at Tipi where you can see over 7500 orchids from a collection of about 300 species, some of them are very rare. Situated at an altitude of 8500 ft. Bomdilla offers wonderful to panoramic views of Himalayan landscapes and snow– clad ranges. Overnight at Bomdilla.
Day 03: Bomdilla -Tawang (190 km /7 hrs.)
Early morning sightseeing in and around Bomdilla. After head on for Tawang. On the to Tawang lies the Word’s second highest pass – the Sela Pass(14000 ft.) which runs through a small ridge and along a placid Lake called the Paradise lake. Overnight stay at Tawang .
Day 04 : Tawang (10000 ft Altitude)
After breakfast go for sightseeing in and around Tawang, visit Tsongeswar Lake, Craft Center and finally the three hundred year old Tawang Monastery – the second largest Buddhist Monastery in the World. The Craft Center produces some beautiful woolen carpets. Overnight stay at Tawang .
Day 05 : Tawang -Dirang (146 km/5 hrs)
Early in the morning leave Tawang for Dirang. On arrival, check in at hotel. In the afternoon visit Monpa Buddhist Monasteries, Hot Water Spring, National Yak Research and Breeding center and Sheep Breeding farm ,Trout fish hatchery farm, Nuranang Water fall at jung and rural Tribal Villages. Overnight stay at Dirang .
Day 06 : Dirang to Bhalukpong
After breakfast proceed to Bhalukpong on the border of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh is a place of enthralling scenic beauty. The sparking river Jia Bharali which passes through Bhalukpong is an adventure lover’s paradise. By the side of the river is the Nameri National park which falls under Project Tiger. Overnight at Bhalukpong..
Day 07 : Bhalukpong – Guwahati (240 km/6 hrs.)
Early morning visit the National park the home of the near extinct White Winged Wood Duck besides the park abounds in Elephants, Leopards, Sambar, Barking Deer, Wild Boar, Gaur and a variety of birds including four species of Horn-bill. After breakfast proceed to Guwahati the capital city of Assam . On arrival, check in at hotel. Overnight stay at Guwahati.
Day 08 : Guwahati
Morning visit local sightseeing and drop to Airport/station to catch your Flight /Train for onward journey with sweet memories.
