DAY 1: BAGDOGRA AIRPORT / NJP RAIL STATION – PELLING

On arrival at Bagdogra airport you will be received by our representative, who will be waiting for a warm welcome just outside of the airport (customs area)/ Rly. Station by your nameplate /your referral and proceed for peeling (7,000ft. /124 km. /6 hours) the land lies with Mt. Khnagchendzonga and also known as the Hallmark land of eastern Himalayan state in India. On arrival at Pelling check in at your hotel, overnight stay at Pelling.

DAY 2: PELLING SIGHTSEEING TOUR

Full day Excursion trip to Pemayangtse Monastery, built in 17th. Century, it is one of the oldest and most important monasteries of the Nyingmapa order of Buddhism in Sikkim also visit Khecheopalri Lake & Shingshore Suspension Bridge is worth seeing – length & gorge height is 680 ft. It is the second highest bridge in Asia. This area also has its. Also Visit Kanchendzonga waterfalls, overnight stay in Pelling.

DAY 3: PELLING TO RAVANGLA VIA NAMCHI & CHARDHAM

Today proceed for Ravongla, situated at an elevation of 7000 ft in South Sikkim. It lies between Pelling and Gangtok. It acts as the starting point for the trek to Maenam Wildlife Sanctuary. Upper parts of Ravangla experiences snowfall during winter. During the months of April–May the place is surrounded by many flowers including It is approximately 65 km away from the state capital Gangtok . NAMCHI: The mammoth statue of Guru Padmasambhava atop the Samdruptse hill claimed without dispute that the 135 feet statue of Guru Padmasambhava constructed at the statue of Guru Padma Shambhava at Samdruptse Hill, Namchi, Sikkim.

CHARDHAM: this unique Pilgrim Centre has a main temple of 108 feet height on which is based the 87 feet high statue of Lord Shiva on the sitting posture at the Solophok Hill. Apart from Shiva statue, this Pilgrim Centre also has replicas of the twelve Jyotirlingas, to offer one platform for Shiva devotees. Solophok Chardham Lord Shiva incarnated as Kirateshwar in Indrakeel (Present Sikkim). Therefore, in this incarnation he is locally worshipped by the people of Sikkim as Lord Kirateshwar. A statue of 16 1/2 feet height of Lord Kirateshwar is also installed in the complex. In order to attain Moksha, the Hindu belief is to perform pilgrimage to all the existing four Dhams. Thereby, replicas of these four Dhams, namely Badrinath, Jaganath and Dwarka dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Rameshwar, dedicated to Lord Shiva is also constructed.

DAY 4: RAVANGLA LOCAL VISIT & DROP TO BAGDOGRA AIRPORT / NJP RAIL STATION

Ravangla is one of the most popular tourist destinations in South Sikkim. At an altitude of 7000 ft, located on a ridge between Maenam and Tendong Hill, Ravangla offers unmatched views of the Greater Himalayas. DAY 01: Gangtok Stand – Lachung

After breakfast, From Gangtok, after 66kms drive you will reach the small township if Mangan, and then Chungthang which is only 22kms before Lachung and is the nearest town. Along the way the river Teesta will be by your side and you can see a number of waterfalls and mountain springs.The village is famous for 19th-century Buddhist Lachung Monastery, has wonderful wall murals and also several ancient statues. The monastery holds religious dance on 28th and 29th day of 10th Buddhist month (December). . On arrival at Lachung check in at hotel, overnight halt.

DAY 02: Lachung – Yumthang – Gangtok

After early breakfast drive up for Yumthang valley (11,800 ft. /24 km / 2 hours) excursion tour. The rhododendrons bloom between March to May. Visit the Shingba Rhododendron Sanctuary which spans across 34 square kilometers area here near Lachung and has over 38 different varieties of rhododendrons. You can see some great species such as arboretum, grande, nivale, the state flower etc. State Forest Department holds International Rhodendron Festival here annually between March to May during the peak flowering season. Yumthang, where the tree line ends and the rhododendron groves cover the landscape in a surreal shade. Yumthang also called the valley of flowers as in spring wild alpine flowers carpet the land. Yumthang is also known for its hot spring, which have healing medicinal properties. return to Lachung and Departure for Lachenn (9,500 ft/135 km/6 hours).On arrival check in at hotel, overnight halt.

DAY 03: Lachen – Gurudongmar lake – Gangtok

DAY 01: PICK UP FROM GANGTOK STAND AND DRIVE TO LACHUNG.

Today proceed for Lachung (8610 ft./135km/6 hours), it has been described as the ‘most picturesque village of Sikkim’ by Joseph Dalton in his ‘Himalayan Journal’ (1855), situated in North Sikkim. Lachung is an exquisite valley town resplendent in its crown of snow-capped mountain, breathtaking waterfalls and sparkling streams. Arrival at Lachung checks in at hotel, overnight halt.

DAY 02: LACHUNG – YUMTHANG – GANGTOK

After early breakfast drive up for Yumthang valley (11,800 ft. /24 km / 2 hours) excursion tour. Yumthang, where the tree line ends and the rhododendron groves cover the landscape in a surreal shade. Yumthang also called the valley of flowers as in spring wild alpine flowers carpet the land. Yumthang is also known for its hot spring, which have healing medicinal properties sand back to Lachung and Departure for Gangtok (5,500 ft/135 km/6 hours).

Gangtok rose to prominence as a popular Buddhist pilgrimage site after the construction of the Enchey Monastery in 1840. Your Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 01 : NJP Railway Station /IXB Airport to Gangtok:

Meet & Greet on arrival at NJP Railway station /IXB Airport & driven to Gangtok (130 km. /4 hrs.). Overnight at Gangtok

Day 02: Gangtok- Half Day sightseeing

After breakfast proceed on half day city tour, visit Rumtek Monastery, Do-Dul chorten, Shanti view point, Research Institute of Tibetology, Directorate of Handicraft s hand-loom & flower show. Overnight at Gangtok.

Day 03 : Gangtok (HD Sightseeing):

After quick breakfast, proceed on a half day trip to Tsomgo Lake 12,400 ft.), 34 km from Gangtok city & Baba Harbhajan singh Memorial. Tsomgo lake freezes completely during the winter and is much revered by the locals. Overnight Gangtok.

Day 04 : Gangtok to NJP Railway station /IXB Airport (130 km /4 hrs)

Morning at leisure. In the afternoon, check out from hotel transfer to NPJ Station/IXB Airport to board your Flight/ Train for journey with sweet memories.

Permit require for Tsomgo Lake. It is mandatory that guest should carry 04 copies of pass – port size photograph, original photo ID proof with photo copy (identity card – Voter ID card/Pass-port/Driving License etc) for processing the permit.
Permit also require for traveling to North Sikkim (Lachung &Lachen). Requires 02 more copies of passport size photographs along with original photo ID proof.
All travelers (including child) must carry during tour: Original ID Address proof (PAN card not valid), child school ID card, 04 to 08 Copy Passport size photos, 02 photocopy of ID. Few places to travel in Sikkim mendatory required permit (ILP)
As per Gangtok (Sikkim) local traffic rules 7.30 AM to 7.30 PM vehicle not allow ( No Entry) inside Gangtok city. All transfer will provide from stand to stand. So between stand to hotel and to stand has to take small car by tourist directly on spot, which is very easy available in stand.
