DAY 02: GUWAHATI – SHILLONG

After breakfast go for visit the MAA KAMAKHYA Temple, the famous SHAKTIPEETH OF INDIA. Check out from hotel and proceed to SHILLONG, the ‘EAST OF SCOTLAND’. Before reaching Shillong enjoy the natural beauty of UMIUM LAKE. You can boat there in Umium Lake. Check-in at hotel and night stay.

Day trip to Cherrapunjee. En-route visit Shillong Peak and then proceed to Elephant Falls before finally leaving for Cherrapunjee, the wettest place on earth where we will be exploring the Mausmai Cave, the Naukalikai Falls, Seven Sisters Falls and Ramkrishna Mission. Return to Shillong and overnight.

DAY – 3: SHILLONG – SILCHAR

Transfer to Silchar. Evening at leisure and overnight.

Local sightseeing of Agartala.The major interest of the town is the Ujjayanta Palace, which was built in the Indo-Saracenic style in 1901 by Maharaja RadhakishoreManikya. Sepahijala wild life sanctuary, Kamala Sagar, situated about 55 km from Agartala is Neermahal, Tripura’s major tourist attraction. It is a summer resort built in the middle of a lake named Rudrasagar, with a total area of about 5.35 sq. km. It is the only lake palace in Eastern India and has been built in a mixture of Hindu and Mughal styles. Overnight in Agartala.

DAY – 6: AGARTALA – SILCHAR

Sightseeing of Aizawl town which will include the visit to the State museum (This museum is situated at Mc Donald Hill in the town centre. Open Monday – Friday from 9:00 A.M to 5 PM. Drive passing through typical Monpa village at Dirang. After viewing the beautiful valley of Dirang overlooking the river and inhabited by colourful tribals, proceed towards the Sela Pass (13703 ft) spend some lovely times by the paradise lake Overnight in Tawang.

DAY – 14: TAWANG

Full day explore Tawang Monastery, founded by Mera Lama LodreGyaltso during 17th century A.D. a contemporary of the fifth Dalai Lama. Visit Tawang War Memorial.Overnight at Tawang.

DAY – 15: TAWANG – BOMDILA

Early morning, drive to Jang to get a breath taking view of waterfalls. Pay homage at the JashwantGarh Indo Chinese War Memorial and downhill drive to Bomdila. Overnight in Bomdila.

DAY – 16: BOMDILA – KAZIRANGA
